Typically reports to a supervisor. **JOB DUTIES:** + Operates various types of caterpillar product CTL + Moves and stores prime product from production line to storage + Ability to safely move prime product after completing basic inspection to distribution center + Must be able to work in a highly structured environment, strictly adhering to provided standard work instruction + Ability to follow and understand source documents to verify serial numbers and shipping documents + Ability to train others in Standard Work + Follows documented procedures standard work, as defined in a variety of source documents to move machines to correct locations + Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work + Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition + Ability to safely move prime product in to confined areas and secure for transportation **Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):** + Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes + Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor + Must be able to work in tight spaces + Must be able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures + Must be able to walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes **Basic Qualifications:** + Possess a valid driver license **Top candidates will also have:** + Caterpillar product knowledge (CTL) + At least 6 months of experience truck loading and securement + Some experience operating heavy machinery preferably CTL **Additional Information:** + Resumes are highly encouraged for all applicants. + This is a 3rd shift position. + No relocation benefits are available. **Employee Benefit Details:** Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
