Implements Physical therapy treatment in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Required:

Doctorate in Physical Therapy Current NJ LicensureBLS certification

Preferred:

APTA MemberCI Certification by APTANICU experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

Flex ScheduleWeekend and Weekday coverageLooking for availability Monday thru Friday on as needed basis, as well as 2 weekend days a month.

Essential Functions:

Collaborates scheduling of inpatient caseload in conjunction with supervisorDemonstrates compliance with inpatient billing processDemonstrates the ability to identify what the patient/member educational needs areDirectly supervises the clinical work of the technicians and keeps the supervisor and managers informedEducates internal and external customersKeeps accurate and up-to-date patient recordsMakes recommendations for services outside of the disciplineParticipates in the interdisciplinary patient/member teaching processRecords appropriate statistical information in and accurate timely mannerSupervises studentsEvaluate, treat and re-evaluate inpatients to meet the established Standard of Care. Assesses, organizes, and implements outcome tools into professional practice when applicableMaintains an open channel of communication among members of the interdisciplinary team involved in patient care including non-clinical support staff
