education etc The staff includes Registered Nurses Patient Care Associates Unit Secretaries Physicians and Mid Level practitioners The Emergency Department is equipped with all tools needed to safely care for any patient from central station cardiac monitoring to ultrasound equipment to our EHR Epic ASAP All staff work together and in a supportive environment to make sure we have a safe environment for our staff patients working the most efficiently and providing the highest level of satisfaction for our staff patientsUnder the supervision of a Nurse Leader the Patient Care Tech is responsible for performing specific duties that support patient care which includes direct and indirect patient care activities that are essential to providing a safe and efficient care environment This position performs selected interventions and activities that contribute to providing comprehensive care to patients in accordance with all existing regulatory and hospital standards policies and procedures In addition along with the care team this position is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experienceThis role performs in a high activity work environment with multiple priorities and necessitates flexibility in schedulingAdditional responsibilities and career advancement opportunities are available through a clinical ladder for Patient Care Techs based on experience skillsets
