PCC Trial Supervisor

**The Opportunity (this is a 12 month contract)**
We are seeking a candidate to join a dynamic team of investigators and research staff. Reporting to the PCC Manager and working closely with the PCC Leadership Team, you will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of nutritional trials, ensuring protocol compliance and high quality data collection. Managing a team of 13 animal technicians the role involves collaboration with the Animal Science and Welfare Manager, Compliance Specialist, SHE coordinator and quality management and engineering teams. The primary focus will be on managing PCC resources to ensure the accurate and efficient execution of all trials.
**A day in the Life:**
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Coordinate all aspects of assigned trials including ethics and governance submissions. Liaise with principal investigators, local and regional project teams. Implementing, adapting and executing all techniques following the company procedures, ensuring reliable results that support the innovation and renovation process.
• People Management: Oversee a team of 13 pet technicians (14 FTE), fostering an environment that empowers employees to perform their roles effectively and efficiently, thereby enhancing job satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaboration with HR: Maintain ongoing collaboration with relevant HR departments to support employee development and organizational goals.
• Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Uphold quality standards and ensure alignment with company values and operational practices
• Continuous relationship with PTC and Global PetCare network in order to implement and standardise all techniques between all centres globally. Assure the application of NPP Global Pet Welfare Policies in our PCC.
**What Will Make You Successful:**
Mandatory:
• Tertiary qualification in Science preferably with experience in Good Laboratory Practices
• People management
Preferred:
• Inventory management
• Understanding of pet welfare policies
• Understanding of Management of Change processes
• Ability to represent Nestlé to internal and external stakeholders
