PCC (PreCommissioning & Commissioning) System Lead

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced PCC System Lead to lead and coordinate system based precommissioning and commissioning activities on a large LNG facility. The role has full system ownership, providing leadership to system engineers and commissioning teams from Mechanical Completion through commissioning, startup support, and handover to Operations.
This is a hand on, site based leadership role, suited to senior commissioning professionals with strong EPC project experience.

Key Responsibilities Act as System Lead for assigned process and or utility systems during PCC phases Lead system based planning, execution strategy, and sequencing in line with the commissioning philosophy Define system and subsystem boundaries, turnover scope, and priorities Supervise and coordinate PCC System Engineers and field teams Ensure Mechanical Completion readiness and controlled handover to PreCommissioning Lead execution of precommissioning activities, including: Flushing, blowing, drying, leak and pressure testing Instrument loop checks and functional testing Electrical testing and energisation readiness Lead commissioning execution, live system testing, and startup support Manage punch lists, constraints, and system acceptance criteria Coordinate closely with Construction, Engineering, Operations, HSE, and QA/QC Review and approve commissioning procedures, test packs, and system dossiers Report system progress, risks, and performance to the Commissioning Manager Enforce strict compliance with HSE rules, PTW, SIMOPS, and risk assessments
Mandatory Requirements (Strict)
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, or equivalent) Experience Minimum 10 years of oil & gas or LNG project experience Proven leadership role during precommissioning and commissioning phases Demonstrated experience as System Lead / Lead Commissioning Engineer / PCC Lead Strong system based commissioning experience on large EPC projects Extensive site based LNG or gas processing facility exposure  Candidates without direct leadership responsibility in PCC phases will not be considered.

Technical Expertise Deep understanding of: PCC workflows and system handover processes LNG process and/or utility systems Commissioning documentation, test packs, and system dossiers Strong ability to interpret: P&IDs, Cause & Effect charts Electrical single line diagrams Instrument loop diagrams
Leadership & Professional Skills Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary commissioning teams Strong interface management and decision making skills Handson problem solver with a proactive mindset Clear verbal and written communication in English Comfortable working in high pressure, multicultural site environments
Ideal Background EPC contractor commissioning background LNG precommissioning, commissioning, and startup leadership experience Middle East project experience (preferred)
