PCBA Technician

Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

PAY: $33/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician with a strong understanding in electromechanical assembly, including PCBA rework, and a mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have experience working with torque tools, fasteners, and integrating electronics into enclosures or chassis.

Responsibilities

Perform electromechanical assembly and PCBA rework in accordance with IPC-610 / J-STD standards.Utilize soldering and rework skills for SMT and through-hole components.Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.Fabricate wiring harnesses and route cables, adhering to cleanroom practices.Use multimeters and other test equipment for continuity checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

Electromechanical assembly experience with a minimum of 2 years working on PCBA's.Proficiency in soldering and rework of SMT/through-hole components.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Experience with wiring harness fabrication and cable routing.Proficiency using multimeters and test equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

IPC-J-STD-001 certification preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude with precision torque tools and fasteners.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
