PCB Test Engineering Technician

Summary: Seeking a Test Engineering Technician specializing in PCB testing to design, validate, and support space-grade hardware testing.

Requirements:

High school diploma with 6+ years of experience in aerospace test engineering or related field Experience with basic scripting and automation Ability to support testing outside of business hours

Preferred Skills:

Electrical testing experience Debugging and deducing digital design issues using lab tools Experience with environmental testing using bench supplies, scopes, and logic analyzers PCB design (circuit design and board layout) Understanding of AS9100 industry standard practices Failure analysis experience (e.g., Ishikawa, "5-Why") Knowledge of optics/optical testing and lean manufacturing principles

Responsibilities:

Devise testing plans, methods, and equipment for product reliability Participate in engineering design review efforts Produce reports on test activities and track metrics Drive failure analysis efforts including documentation and technical analysis Plan labor, schedules, and equipment for testing standard/special devices Provide test area parameters/specifications for tests Offer technical expertise across multiple programs/technologies Responsible for all customer deliverable hardware testing Perform product analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations Develop procedures/plans including environmental, regression, dynamic testing

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
