**Job Title: Technician** **Job Description**
As a Technician, you will perform precision soldering and rework on complex PCBAs to high workmanship standards. Your role involves executing advanced micro-soldering tasks, diagnosing and repairing damaged components, and supporting engineering debug by implementing board modifications and ECOs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform precision soldering and rework on complex PCBAs.
+ Execute advanced micro-soldering tasks, including work with fine-pitch SMD components, high pin-count connectors, and QFN, LGA, and BGA rework.
+ Diagnose and repair damaged pads, traces, vias, and connectors.
+ Support engineering debug by implementing board modifications, ECOs, and bodge rework.
+ Work from schematics, board layouts, and engineering guidance to execute accurate rework.
+ Document rework actions, common failure modes, and lessons learned.
+ Help define, improve, and standardize rework procedures and workmanship guidelines.
+ Train and support technicians and engineers on soldering best practices.
+ Maintain soldering tools, microscopes, rework stations, and consumables.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of professional experience in electronics soldering and PCBA rework.
+ Extensive hands-on experience with fine-pitch and high-density PCBAs.
+ Proven expertise in micro-soldering under a microscope.
+ Strong understanding of PCB construction, component packages, and thermal behavior.
+ Ability to consistently produce clean, reliable, and inspectable rework.
+ High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
+ Comfortable working independently on high-value, time-critical hardware.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of electronics, production processes, and Microsoft Office applications.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
