Job Description Insight Global is seeking an experienced PWB Designer to join a large aerospace and defense client in Chandler, AZ. This individual will design/layout printed wiring boards (PWBs) for military/aerospace avionics and test applications. Responsibilities Include: Create complex multi-layer designs for PWB's and Flex circuits using the latest technologies (including BGA's, micro-vias, stacked micro-via, high speed, and controlled impedance boards) Generate support documentation to meet NGC standards Design PWB's for digital, analog, mixed signal, and power applications Incorporate complex changes utilizing CAD tools. Check designs, drawings and databases for accuracy Attend/Support ERB/CCBs Review and approve design documents and data products Support proposal efforts as needed: obtain quotations, material costs, BOM support, generate white papers, generate BOEs, cost and schedule estimates We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - 8+ years recent PWB design layout experience using the Cadence Allegro design tool suite; - Experience with high density complex, multilayer boards (6-16 layers); - Experience with layout of analog and digital circuits; DDR3/DDR4 memory. Experience designing rigid-flex assemblies. Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. Experience with layout/routing of high-speed digital and controlled-impedance circuits, such as SERDES, Experience with CAM350 and/or Valor DFM software tools; Experience with OrCad Layout and Mentor PADS or Xpedition tool suite Ability to prepare artwork (ODB++, Gerbers) for fabrication of PWBs.
