YOUR ROLE
Ensure the correct execution of materials planning (MRP) and production scheduling processes, guaranteeing timely supply, compliance with the master production plan, and cost optimization within the supply chain.
In your daily job you will:
a. Monitoring sales targets and ensuring sufficient SAP plan load to cover them.
b. Analyzing customer requirements, respecting the established run policy plus 3 weeks post-run vs. machine capacity.
c. Loading the plan into SAP for the MRP run.
d. Validating requirement fluctuations and balancing orders above capacity, as well as submitting them for negotiation with customers.
e. Monitoring and improving past due.
f. Controlling premium expenditure.
g. Creating a plan for each part of raw materials and finished products.
h. Ensuring the planning of critical numbers.
i. Ensuring the correct configuration of parameters in SAP for both raw materials and finished products.
j. Controlling SAP inventory (raw materials and finished products).
k. Controlling excess and obsolete inventory.
l. Ensuring the daily plan is delivered to the manufacturing area one shift in advance.
m. Analysis of hazards and risks that may affect the supply chain, as well as existing controls to mitigate them.
n. Participation in daily results meetings.
o. Participation in compliance with the area's KPIs.
p. Monitoring engineering changes.
q. Compliance with the EOS system.
r. Defining lead times for finished products.
s. Notifying changes to lead times and standard packs.
t. Monitoring transfers.
u. Notifying number transfers to other Aptiv plants.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
a. Bachelor's degree/Engineering
b. At least 5 years' experience in the position or similar
c. Advanced English
d. Experience in the automotive industry is desirable
e. Microsoft Office, advanced Excel
f. SAP proficiency
g. MRP, MPS, Scheduling
h. Assertive communication
i. Professional ethics
j. Teamwork
k. Results-oriented
