PC Deployment Technician – Contract Opportunity (Orlando, FL) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Location: Orlando, FL Duration: 4‑month contract (with strong potential for growth) A rapidly expanding organization in Central Florida is bringing on 2 PC Deployment Technicians to support new office buildouts and technology rollouts across the region. If you enjoy hands‑on IT work, field assignments, and seeing your impact immediately, this role is a great fit. What You’ll Do You’ll join a mobile deployment team responsible for getting new and expanding locations fully operational. Your day will include: Hardware Setup & Deployment + Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals + Perform imaging, driver installs, unboxing, and device preparation + Ensure all equipment is fully functional for end users after go‑live Field Work & Site Support + Start your day at the main office, then travel with a Lead Tech to assigned sites + Deliver, stage, and move hardware according to the project schedule + Complete cable management for a clean, professional setup Inventory & Asset Management + Survey facilities and document hardware details + Update the CMDB (Cherwell) with accurate inventory data + Support hardware quoting and purchasing needs ️ System Go‑Live Support + Assist with technical dress rehearsals + Install project‑specific peripherals (credit card readers, interpreter devices, etc.) + Provide on‑site support during go‑live events Customer Interaction & Ticketing + Coordinate deployment times with end users + Manage project‑related tickets based on priority and urgency + Deliver excellent customer service throughout every interaction What You Bring + 1+ year of hands‑on IT support experience + Strong PC hardware skills (setup, configuration, troubleshooting) + Solid Windows 10 knowledge + Great communication and customer service skills + Bonus: CompTIA A+ or IT degree Why This Role Is Exciting This organization is growing quickly and expanding locations across the region.
