Payroll Team Lead
Overview (English) The Payroll Team Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. This role involves supervising payroll staff, resolving complex payroll issues, and collaborating with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities (English) Lead and support the payroll team in processing monthly payroll. Ensure payroll is completed in accordance with internal policies, tax regulations, and labor laws. Review and approve payroll calculations, deductions, and adjustments. Manage year-end processes including tax reporting, and audit support. Liaise with HR and Finance to ensure proper data integration and reconciliations. Serve as the escalation point for payroll-related queries and complex cases. Maintain and update payroll procedures and documentation. Monitor changes in legislation and ensure payroll compliance accordingly. Provide reports and analysis to senior management as required. Qualifications (English) Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Reporting To: Payroll Manager / HR Director / Finance Controller (depending on company structure)
