TEKsystems is looking for qualified individuals for a Payroll Tax Accountant opening with a globally recognized Hospitality Organization in Dunwoody, GA! Job Description: + Efficiently process and resolve backlog of account setups and registrations within the designated tax portal systems + Accurately calculate, prepare, and remit tax payments in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations + Draft and submit amendment filings to correct or update previously submitted tax documentation + Post weekly payroll journal entries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with general ledger standards + Conduct thorough reconciliations of financial records each quarter, including investigative research to resolve discrepancies + Review, interpret, and respond to tax-related notices from regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution + Maintain detailed records and logs of journal entries and financial data for audit readiness and internal reporting + Provide research and analytical support for property-level general ledger inquiries and adjustments as needed Experience Level + 2+ Years of Payroll Accounting Experience + 2+ Years of Multi-state Tax Experience/Experience with Tax Registrations + Proficiency in Accounting Responsibilities such as Registrations/Reconciliations + Must have experience with ADP Smart Compliance and Oracle HCM Payroll platforms Nice to Have + Global Tax Experience + Hospitality Industry Experience Schedule and Working Environment Hybrid: Must be comfortable with commuting to Dunwoody up to 3 days a week Schedule: Full-Time, 40-Hour Week between 8am and 6pm EST (Some overtime may be required but will not exceed 5 hours) If interested, please apply with your most up to date resume!
