Description
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to oversee and manage payroll operations for a large professional services firm. This role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll processes across multiple states and Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-cycle payroll and proficiency with Workday Payroll systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments for a large employee base.
• Manage multi-state payroll operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Utilize Workday Payroll systems to streamline payroll processes and maintain data integrity.
• Administer bi-monthly payroll cycles, handling adjustments and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure payroll compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and organizational policies.
• Supervise payroll for over 500 employees, maintaining accuracy and resolving issues effectively.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
• Provide guidance and leadership to payroll team members, supporting their growth and skill development.
• Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management review and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing full-cycle payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll practices and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency with Workday Payroll systems and ADP Workforce Now.
• Experience handling payroll for over 500 employees.
• Familiarity with bi-monthly payroll cycles and associated requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
