What you will do
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing accurate and timely payroll processing for a dedicated site or legal entity, in compliance with internal policies and all applicable legal, tax, and social insurance regulations. This role acts as a subject matter expert (SME) on payroll operations, systems, and country-specific requirements. It plays a key role in supporting employees, partnering with HR and Finance, and driving process improvements.
Provide second-level payroll support and handle complex employee inquiries via the myHR service portal.
Ensure the consistent and timely execution of payroll for employees, interns, and expatriates, considering country-specific compliance requirements.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll systems and processes; liaise with internal functions (e.g. HR, Finance, IT) and external vendors.
Support system training and knowledge transfer to team members or stakeholders.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy and issue resolution across the end-to-end payroll process.
Contribute to continuous improvement and harmonization of payroll processes and tools.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to payroll-related inquiries.
Provide coverage for other Payroll Specialists when needed.
What you need
Required Qualifications
Qualification: completed professional education or completed studies
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in payroll or related field.
Strong knowledge of local labor law, tax, and social insurance legislation.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or role-related experience preferred
Experience working with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP) and proficient in Excel.
