Payroll Specialist
Description The salary range for this position is $90,000-$95,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. Key Responsibilities: o Process payroll for nine entities within ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. o Review and validate timekeeping, earnings, deductions, benefits, and adjustments prior to final submission. o Maintain payroll records and support payroll onboarding/offboarding activities. o Reconcile the payroll sub-ledger to the general ledger for all entities. o Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries. o Investigate and resolve discrepancies in partnership with the Accounting/Finance team. o Remit federal, state, and local payroll taxes accurately and on schedule. o Prepare and submit government reporting and ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies. o Ensure compliance with all payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies. o Set up payroll in new states, if required. o Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll statements, including W-2s and other payroll-related filings. o Prepare annual W-2 reconciliations for tax workpapers. o Generate customized payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership as needed. o Maximize functionality and efficiency within ADP Workforce Now. o Identify opportunities for process enhancements that improve payroll accuracy, controls, and operating efficiency. o Administer Concur and ensure efficient processing of employee reimbursements. o Support audits and special projects as needed. Requirements Qualifications: • 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-entity or multi-state environment. • Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (required). • Payroll certification preferred. • Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Experience reconciling payroll to the general ledger. • Experience with Concur or other employee reimbursement systems. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
