Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in North Houston, Texas. In this role, you will oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Responsibilities: • Input payroll data into internal systems and Excel spreadsheets for seamless processing. • Manage monthly commission and bonus payouts with precision. • Update employee records with changes such as salary adjustments and other employment details. • Develop and implement ideas to improve payroll efficiency and workflows. • Collaborate with HR and management teams to support special projects and ad hoc requests. • Process and document wage garnishments accurately. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll calculations. • Address employee inquiries related to compensation in a timely manner. • Coordinate closely with accounting teams across various departments. • Safeguard employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times. Requirements • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with payroll systems, ideally ADP Workforce Now. • Familiarity with multi-state payroll processes is preferred. • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience is strongly desired. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. • All candidates are required to undergo drug testing and background verification. • Strong data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel • Maintain a detail-oriented attitude, appearance, and demeanor consistently.
