Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist with hands-on experience using Paycom to manage and process payroll accurately and on time. This role is responsible for ensuring payroll compliance, maintaining employee records, and serving as a key point of contact for payroll-related questions. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities + Process bi-weekly/weekly/monthly payroll using Paycom for hourly and salaried employees + Maintain and audit employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations + Manage payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits deductions, and timekeeping data + Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly + Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll questions and issues + Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on audits, reporting, and process improvements + Generate payroll reports for management as needed Requirements Qualifications + 2+ years of payroll processing experience + Direct experience with Paycom is highly preferred + Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements + High attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent organizational and time management skills + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general payroll reporting tools Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
