Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Germantown, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing payroll operations with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to both financial reporting and employee satisfaction through precise payroll processing. Responsibilities: • Handle daily payroll operations across multiple company codes, ensuring timely and accurate processing. • Oversee workflow to guarantee all payroll transactions are completed efficiently and without errors. • Apply proper tax regulations to employer-paid benefits and ensure compliance. • Calculate and process garnishments accurately while adhering to legal requirements. • Manage time and attendance data, ensuring seamless integration with payroll systems. • Submit payroll reports and payments in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines. • Prepare and process year-end reporting, including W-2s and other necessary documentation. • Generate ad hoc financial and operational reports based on organizational needs. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly, maintaining thorough documentation. • Serve as the internal expert for Time and Labor software, providing guidance and support. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll. • Ability to manage payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems. • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and garnishments. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to generate reports and analyze payroll data effectively. • Knowledge of accounting principles and vendor management. • Strong communication skills for addressing employee and vendor inquiries.
