Roles & Responsibilities:
Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently for 2 areas in Bangkok and Laos.
Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information
Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this
Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee income, social security taxes, employer's social security, provident fund, employee shares, and worker’s compensation payments
Resolving payroll discrepancies
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
Performs other related duties and transversal projects as assigned
Take the lead in Payroll projects related.
Involve in C&B Topics as per needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as payroll specialist in manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices including personal income tax scheme for expatriate
Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases.
Direct experience with SAP PAYROLL is a MUST.
Good communication skills in English
BSc/BA or up in related field
