Description Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team in Webster, Texas. This position involves managing comprehensive payroll processes for union and non-union employees while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, detail-oriented environment and is ready to take ownership of payroll operations. Responsibilities: • Process weekly payroll for approximately 400 union and 100 non-union employees with accuracy and efficiency. • Perform full-cycle payroll duties, including data entry, reconciliation, and generating reports. • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to resolve payroll inquiries and optimize workflows. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll functions, with training available for candidates new to the system. • Ensure payroll taxes comply with federal, state, and local regulations by reviewing and verifying calculations. • Manage union payroll requirements, including specialized deductions, benefits, and reporting. • Maintain detailed payroll records to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards. • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies by working with internal teams and stakeholders as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing. • Proven experience handling union payroll requirements and guidelines. • Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and the ability to ensure compliance. • ADP Workforce Now is required. • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume payroll for diverse employee groups. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to meet deadlines. • Stable work history that reflects reliability and commitment.
