Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Pittsburgh, PA Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Downtown Piitsburgh Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our client based in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Payroll Specialist, you will go beyond traditional payroll processing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while navigating federal, state, and local regulations. Primary Responsibilities: + Accurately and timely process payrolls while maintaining compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies. + Administer all aspects of payroll preparation and processing for corporate offices and other salary payrolls as required. + Assist in reviewing weekly and biweekly payroll processing previews to ensure precise results. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant working experience. + Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred. + Minimum of three years of multi-state payroll processing experience. + Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and requirements. + Experience with ADP Enterprise (or similar payroll systems) required. + Familiarity with UKG Kronos (or similar time and attendance systems) preferred. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
