Compensation: $27/hourLocation: Houston, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ (hybrid)Assignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO & Holidays Responsibilities Responsible for the processing of biweekly and monthly payrolls for 1200 to 2,000 employees located in various states. Payroll processing includes reconciliation of earnings, deductions, and taxes, running audit reports and submitting reconciliations to management for review and approvalWork with managers to ensure that the worked time for non-exempt employees is approved by the established deadlinePayroll Input as neededPayroll Tax Adjustments and company reclassesProcess On Demand Payments & Manual payments as neededProcess EIB LoadsRun/audit Payroll IntegrationsTax and Payment elections set-ups/auditsW2 Corrections as neededGarnishment/Tax Levy Set-upsStuffing and distribution of payroll checks and pay slipsManage Case Management and the Payroll Help Line - Assist Human Resources, Benefits, and employees with payroll related questionsSpecial projects and responsibilities as assignedOther duties as assigned QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required
2+ years experience with Corporate Payroll experience, multi-state end
2+ to end payroll preferred
Planning, prioritization of work, and organizational skills to ensure all administrative duties are completed High personal credibility and ethical standards to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
High dependability and concern for others to ensure needs of others are met Advanced communication skills (verbal and written) including proficiencies with spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Ability to read, write and speak in English Understanding of Importance of Safe Work Practices
