Payroll Specialist – “Fully remote role” – UK payroll

This position is fully remote across Poland. The Payroll Specialist will provide full functional payroll support for the allocated UK payroll, ensuring it is processed accurately and on-time. They will ensure that statutory compliance requirements for the UK payroll process are being adhered to and legislative changes are implemented as needed. They will ensure processing, payments and reporting deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner. They will also provide support to the Payroll Team Leader and the Payroll Manager to promote and implement process excellence and process standardization for the UK Payroll. **Main task:** + Collection and verification of payroll data. + Processing of the payroll data in accordance with the prescribed timetables. + Working closely with the Payroll Provider and HR COE’s to ensure local compliance practices are being followed and all payroll/employment tax, government and local filings are being submitted in a timely manner. + Verification of payroll output and review with the Payroll Team Leader or the Payroll Manager. + Ensuring timely Net Salary Payments processing and ensuring timely distribution of payslips and resolution of payroll queries. + Reconciliation of payroll results and preparation of payroll journals for posting. + Performing routine and non-routine data retrieval, research, analysis, and reporting from payroll record as requested. + Identifying and executing payroll process improvements. + Documenting and maintaining payroll procedures and manuals. + Provision of monthly pension contributions reporting and reconciliation against the monthly payroll results to the responsible HR COE(s) and Third Party Vendor as required. + Preparation and submission of year end reporting and any other PAYE requirements. + Providing support to the Payroll Team Leader and the Payroll Manager during Payroll Project Implementation, including testing for legislative compliance, and resolution of systems issues. + Working with the Payroll Team Leader and the Payroll Manager to implement internal processes and procedures that will enhance the performance of payroll as well as ensure that installed technology is being utilized appropriately for best results in a cost-effective manner. + Partnering with the local Payroll vendor and the HR stakeholders to investigate Tax/Social Security compliance matters resulting from specific issues or legislative changes, as they arise. **Education/Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree required **Experience:** + 3+ years of proven experience working in a payroll environment. + Previous experience with UK payroll.
