Payroll Operations Manager (Fixed-term contract)
**Job Description:**
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
In this role, you will **manage** a team of approx. **10 Payroll Analysts** responsible for payroll **delivery** across **Poland** and selected **Eastern European countries** . You will **oversee** end-to-end payroll processes, ensure **compliance** , drive **improvements** , and coordinate work with **external vendors** .
**WHAT WILL YOU DO:**
+ **Lead and develop** a payroll team of approx. 10 specialists.
+ **Oversee** payroll operations for Poland and CEE countries, ensuring **accuracy and timeliness** .
+ **Manage** the payroll cycle: approvals, accounting files, **time tracking** , absence management, pensions.
+ **Cooperate** with external vendors and **resolve escalations** .
+ Ensure **compliance** with Polish and regional payroll regulations.
+ **Review and prepare** payroll reports for HR, Finance, and Audit purposes.
+ **Implement** process improvements and support payroll-related projects.
**WHO YOU ARE:**
+ **8+ years** of payroll experience, including strong knowledge of **Polish payroll** and exposure to CEE countries.
+ **2+ years** of team management experience.
+ Fluent **English (C1)** ; knowledge of other regional languages would be an **asset** .
+ Advanced **MS Excel** skills.
+ **Detail-oriented** , organized, and able to perform under time **pressure** .
+ Able to handle **confidential data** with discretion.
