Description We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves leading payroll processes, managing a team, and driving improvements in efficiency while maintaining accuracy. Based in Clearwater, Florida, this position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact by optimizing payroll systems and supporting organizational goals. Responsibilities: -Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding payroll and taxation -Establishing and implementing policies on such matters as garnishments and payroll advancements to employees -Preparing reporting and other ad hoc projects as needed -Preparing accruals and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger -Hiring, training, developing and supervising payroll staff -Provides general oversight of all payroll processes and procedures and constantly evaluates overall department efficiency Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management or a related role. • Expertise in automated payroll systems and domestic payroll processes. • Proficiency in managing benefits payroll and ensuring compliance. • Familiarity with large payroll software systems along with advanced Excel skills • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams. • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
