Payroll & HR Specialist

C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to join our APAC HR Shared Services Center team.
You will be responsible for contributing to regional HR operations, ensuring accurate payroll processing and supporting various HR functions across the Asia-Pacific region.

**Responsibilities:**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
HR operation:
+ Accurately and timely processing of daily operational HR transactions in partnership with managers, including talent acquisition operations, onboarding, promotion/salary adjustment, transfers, offboarding and ad-hoc transactions across 15 regions
+ Ensure all data transactions update into Workday from Job requisitions, hiring, onboarding, transfers, personal data changes, compensation changes and termination
+ Develop and maintain Standard Process Procedure (SOP) and knowledge base in alignment with laws, regulations and best practice
Payroll:
+ Ensure monthly and yearly payroll process and payroll result accurately and timely as per SLA across 15 regions
+ Monthly and yearly data and reports analysis for other departments and business needs including Payroll Cost Summary Report, HR Statistical Report, Region Overtime Report etc. to meet different departments requirements
+ Statutory operation and end-to-end process management including social insurances, employee income tax
General:
+ Act as the first point of contact for employees, managers for all general HR questions and handle queries, address solutions via internal case management system, making sure to generate a high level of employee satisfaction
+ Independently lead process and system improvement with aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, and service standard
+ Maintain compliance with labor laws and local regulations and recommend best practices to ensure compliance
+ Internal and external audit support including various reports and data analysis
+ Respond to employee verification requests, such as income references letter, employment reference letter
+ Support the administration, operation and execution of strategic HR Projects and core processes
+ Collaborate daily with internal and external 3rd parties (i.e., HR COE’s and business partners, payroll providers, benefits providers, managers, Tax and Social authorities, IT)
**Qualifications:**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 7 years HR experience and 5 years solid HR operation and payroll experience with MNC
+ Experience with Workday
+ Experience in processing payroll
+ Good knowledge of HR labor laws and regulations
+ Demonstrated experience in leading process continuous improvement
+ Be flexible to support operations on varied shifts
+ Fluent in written and oral in English
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and to handle sensitive matters with judgment, tact and diplomacy
+ Working knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Power Automate, Power App
