You’ll be the go-to person ensuring their employees are paid accurately and on time, while also supporting the HR department in creating a positive employee experience from onboarding through to long-term success. What You’ll Do
Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for a team that values your attention to detailReview timesheets, verify hours, and ensure all payroll changes (new hires, terminations, benefits updates, etc.) are completed seamlesslyMaintain employee information in HR and payroll systems with accuracy and confidentialityPartner with the Director of Human Resources to support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, and employee communicationsHelp manage benefits and pension plans — enrollments, changes, and terminationsPrepare and process ROEs, benefit updates, and other employment documentsTake initiative in improving processes and finding efficiencies within payroll and HR functionsJump in wherever needed — because teamwork is how we do things here!What You Bring
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation (or working toward one)2–3 years of hands-on payroll experience (hourly, bi-weekly preferred)Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (any combination is great!)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with data and systemsA high level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential informationExceptional organization and communication skillsA proactive, 'roll up your sleeves' attitude — you like to learn, contribute, and growBonus points for experience in a manufacturing or office environmentWhy You’ll Love It Here
