What You'll Do

Summary:

The Payroll Coordinator reports to the Payroll Manager and is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and support services in for the division’s Payroll operations.

 

Responsibilities

Run weekly payroll processUnion reportingChild support and garnishmentsSupport Divisional Payroll AdministratorsEmployee supportBalancing the union accrual to the general ledgerMaintain all union rates/benefits/skill levels for all unionsResearching outstanding and unclaimed payroll checksBalance manual check batches each weekProcess payroll adjustments/corrections/one-time overridesProcess off-cycle checksResearch bank exceptionsUpdate employee direct deposit and tax informationPull data and support for audit compliance What You'll Bring

Required:

Attention to detail and high level of accuracyEffective organizational skillsComputer skills including ability to operate computerized accounting softwareProficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and email programsWork effectively with coworkersMeet all departmental deadlines

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree or equivalent work experience 2+ Years of payroll experienceUnion experience preferred What You'll Get
