Payroll & Benefits Manager - Remote

JSG is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Manager - Remote. 

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day administration and compliance of 401(k), welfare benefit plans, and payroll functions.

Process payroll for Corporate and Salary employees accurately and on schedule.

Support the HR team in prioritizing, communicating, and executing payroll, 401(k), and benefits-related initiatives.

Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors and service providers for payroll, benefits, and 401(k) administration.

Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll, benefits, and 401(k) records.

Coordinate onboarding of remote new hires, ensuring smooth integration into payroll and benefits systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Proven experience with payroll systems, preferably UKG or similar platforms.

Strong background in payroll processing and benefits administration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing payroll, 401(k), and welfare benefit plans.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

3–5 years of relevant experience in a payroll or benefits role.

Experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
