Payroll & Benefits Manager
Location: Midtown East, NYC (On-site, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 + competitive benefits
Schedule: Full-time, in-office

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to take ownership of payroll processing and benefits administration for a leading financial services firm. This is a standalone role where you will manage the full payroll cycle and oversee employee benefits, with the opportunity to improve current programs and implement new initiatives. You will work closely with the SVP of Finance and have significant exposure to leadership, including the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for ~50 employees in NYC (via ADP).

Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, PTO, and other employee programs.

Partner with leadership to evaluate, enhance, and implement benefits offerings (e.g., 401(k) match programs).

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Maintain accurate employee records and reporting in ADP.

Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits-related questions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

5+ years of payroll and benefits experience, preferably within financial services or professional services.

Proficiency in ADP payroll and benefits administration.

Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and benefits regulations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Confident, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-exposure environment.
