**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
**The Payroll Auditor performs payroll audits and quality control functions to ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and company policies. Job duties include:**
+ Perform the full payroll audit cycle including quality control audits of data entry and pay data into core HR Information System (“HRIS”), based on company pay polices.
+ Assessment of punch exceptions from the biometric timekeeping system.
+ Execute assigned human resources audits to maintain compliance with hiring policies and procedures.
+ Document audit findings for tracking and retention purposes.
+ Report audit findings to appropriate stakeholder(s) depending on the type of audit.
+ Utilize BI software, such as Tableau, to evaluate raw data from core systems and communicate results to Field Managers and Payroll Audit Supervisor.
+ Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective action has been implemented.
+ Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with co-workers and team members and effectively communicates with management via verbal and written communications.
+ Work harmoniously with persons assigned to assist in the payroll process.
+ Other audits and duties as needed.
**YOUR MUST HAVES:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ Associate’s degree or equivalent education and/or payroll experience.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Related work experience as an Internal Auditor or Payroll Processor/Specialist.
+ High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
+ Strong critical thinking skills to make informed decisions.
**WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
+ Ability to pick up new tasks as assigned on a daily/weekly/monthly/annual basis.
+ Ability to adapt to change quickly as the company grows and policies and laws update.
+ Self-starter who can work as a team and individually.
**OUR ENVIRONMENT:**
**This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.**
