As a Payroll Associate, this individual is responsible for assisting the processing of payroll by organizing, inputting, and auditing employee personnel, benefit, and tax withholding data in compliance with established deadlines and procedures. This includes responding to documentation and reporting requests of payroll related records.
Key Responsibilities:
·Compiles and processes payroll, benefit, and tax related documentation; verifies accuracy of payroll records.
·Provides customer service support to employees with any payroll issues.
·Responds to requests for documentation involving payroll, benefits, and tax records.
·Generates reports and electronic files from the payroll system.
·Assists with year end tasks such as tax filings and W-2 processing.
Competencies Required:
·Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
·Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Office, Excel, Word).
·Proficiency with using payroll software, Cognos and UltiPro preferred.
·Solid communication and customer service skills.
