**Job Summary**
Collect special payroll input data and compile spreadsheets for entry into the Workday payroll module. Respond to payroll inquiries from the payroll email box and the payroll phone line. Review payroll audit reports and prepare adjustments.
**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**
**•** Execute day-to-day payroll processing for weekly, bi-weekly, off-cycle, and special pay cycles across all WC U.S. entities, covering multiple states and jurisdictions.
**•** Support payroll operations by ensuring the integrity of WC’s payroll systems and processes, and the timely and accurate delivery of payments to all associates.
**•** Proactively communicate any payroll issues or concerns to Payroll leadership.
**•** Conduct regular audits to verify payroll data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
**•** Investigate and resolve payroll processing errors or inconsistencies.
**•** Upload garnishments, additional payment files and off-cycle check requests to third party vendor for processing.
**•** Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and other payroll-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
**•** Collaborate with payroll team members to ensure consistent communication and coordination across all payroll-related emails and phone calls.
**•** Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll data and employee information.
**Nature and Scope**
+ Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
+ Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
+ None.
**Work Environment**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
+ No travel required.
**Education and Experience**
+ HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally, 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Understanding of time and attendance process.
+ At least 2 years of payroll experience required
+ Workday payroll knowledge preferred
+ Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing.
+ Basic knowledge of garnishment processing.
