Payroll Analyst - Nordics

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1,800 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. There will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Key job responsibilities - Deliver end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries/entities - Execute and enhance payroll controls (Source to Gross, Gross to Net) - Complete standard accounting reconciliations - Resolve payroll queries - Support vendor relationships and performance management - Partner with Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR, and Finance teams - Suggest process improvements using Six Sigma methodology - Support payroll components of strategic initiatives - Deliver on payroll part of country expansion projects - Contribute innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency - Upkeep of payroll processes and inventory ( SOPs, process maps etc.) - Raise blockers and issues senior analysts and managers Basic Qualifications - Excellent customer service orientation - 1+ year payroll/HR experience OR 3+ years professional experience (non-payroll /HR) - Fluency in English - Advanced user of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) - Strong analytical and statistical capabilities - Experience with root cause analysis - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Preferred Qualifications - Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labour code, social security, garnishments, pension, benefits, terminations) - Familiar with SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP software Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
