A Day in the LifeThis role will be part of our global payroll team providing support for up to 2,000 employees across 17 EMEA Countries as we operationally separate from Medtronic to an independent business.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

·        Payroll Processing & Validation: Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing

·        Execute end-to-end payroll cycles, including validating inputs/outputs for multiple countries within EMEA

·        Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to local, regional, and national tax and labour regulations.

·        Vendor Management: Interface with outsourced payroll providers to manage, track performance, and resolve discrepancies.

·        Data Accuracy: Maintain, analyze, and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy before processing.

 

Required Knowledge and Experience:

·        Experience: 3+ years of payroll experience, specifically within the EMEA region.

·        Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with HRIS systems (Workday) and payroll vendors (ADP Celergo, CloudPay).

·        Knowledge: Deep understanding of EMEA payroll tax, statutory reporting, and benefits.

·        Competencies: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple, tight deadlines.

·        Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Accounting, Finance or Business.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
