Payroll Analyst
**Introduction** The Red Hat Payroll team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join us in the Czech Republic. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting payroll operations across 31 Red Hat locations in the EMEA region. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and complex environment, where accuracy and compliance are key. You will report to the EMEA Payroll Manager and be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in alignment with company policies and statutory requirements. **Your role and responsibilities** Prepare monthly payroll input for submission to external payroll providers, and review vendor-prepared payrolls for completeness and accuracy Process payments including net salaries, tax and social security contributions, pension schemes, and other related statutory payments Manage month-end payroll accounting, including general ledger reporting and reconciliations Handle vacation accruals and ensure correct application of leave policies Coordinate and submit annual statutory filings, returns, and other payroll-related compliance documents Ensure accurate reporting and taxation of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and other equity components Perform monthly reconciliations to validate payroll input and identify and correct variances in a timely manner Maintain strong documentation and internal controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support payroll audits and maintain data integrity Foster strong working relationships with external payroll vendors and internal stakeholders such as HR, Finance, and Legal **Required technical and professional expertise** 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multinational environment, ideally within organizations of 1,000+ employees Solid experience managing payrolls across multiple EMEA countries; experience with EMEA payroll is a strong plus Strong understanding of statutory payroll legislation and compliance requirements in EMEA Proven ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Experience in working within structured processes while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills Ability to turn business needs into practical payroll solutions and execute them effectively Comfortable working in a global, multi-country environment where ambiguity and complexity may arise Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer literacy Third-level qualification (e.g., university degree or equivalent) is considered a plus **Preferred technical and professional experience** Hiring manager and Recruiter should collaborate to create the relevant verbiage.
