You are a specialist in a process, workstream or area in Mondelēz International Digital Services, working to support impeccable service operations.

How you will contribute

You will use your in-depth process and service knowledge in your area of expertise to ensure that service level agreements and obligations are met. As a co-owner of the development of standard operating procedures, you will drive standardization and simplification of processes. In addition, you will provide input for training materials, ensure that standard operating procedures and data protection activities comply with Mondelēz International policies and the law, analyze and report on exceptions and offer recommendations for process improvements, and lead the sustainable continuous improvement process for the team.

Payroll Processing:

Reconcile the payroll input file against internal records. Escalate discrepancies for correction before payroll processing.Thoroughly review payroll outputs provided by the payroll service provider to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Validate calculations related to wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.Prepare payroll summaries and reports before month end closing.Process payroll cycles in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on schedule.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to payroll. Review and distribute relevant payroll reports to Finance and relevant teams.Review & Process ServiceNow tickets related to payroll inputs.Prepare and submit monthly CNSS declarations through approved channels.Prepare and submit annual income tax declarations to the tax authorities.Manage loan deductions, providing monthly data to Wafa Salaf, Wafa Immo and internal teams for payroll inputs, ensuring inputs are correctly captured in payroll and paid to the relevant institutions, in alignment with contractual agreements.Perform reconciliation and validation of CIMR files received from the payroll service provider.Prepare and process Car Insurance Declarations on a quarterly basis.Reconcile, validate and process Health Insurance Declaration.

Employee & Engagement:

Provide guidance to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.Participate or lead local engagement activities.

Liaison & Collaboration:

Collaborate with the People Experience team to ensure accurate and timely input of employee life cycle data into the payroll file.Work closely with the payroll service provider to address any questions, concerns, or issues related to payroll processing.Participate in regular meetings with the People Experience team and the payroll service provider to discuss payroll updates, process improvements, and any outstanding issues.

Compliance & Audit Support:

Maintain a strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.Support internal and external audits related to payroll by providing documentation and explanations as needed.Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping of all payroll-related activities. Maintain accurate and complete payroll electronic records.Ensure we comply with internal SOX controlsValidate and process bank files.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the payroll process, working collaboratively with the People Experience team and the payroll service provider.Document payroll processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.Assist with the implementation of new payroll processes or system updates.Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls to mitigate payroll-related risks.
