Responsibilities:
Payroll Data Entry: Accurately receive, organize, and input client employee hours into the internal payroll system, preparing data for submission to the external payroll vendor (currently transitioning from Corporate Payroll to APS Payroll).
Quality Assurance & Auditing: Perform diligent quality checks and audits on payroll summaries, client invoicing, and benefits-related invoices to ensure accuracy before distribution.
Administrative Contact: Serve as a key administrative point of contact for employers/clients regarding payroll data submission and initial administrative inquiries.
Excel Management: Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data manipulation, reporting, tracking, and organization, including tasks like merging cells and managing repeating row

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Skills:
Exceptional Attention to Detail and focus on Quality Assurance, particularly when handling sensitive payroll and financial data.

Software Adaptability and the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Strong organizational skills for managing data and serving as a key administrative contact for client data submission.

Prior Experience: Proven, relevant experience in payroll entry, data entry, and/or invoice auditing is mandatory.
Excel Proficiency: Must possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Candidates should be comfortable with fundamental functions and concepts, as the team operates extensively within this platform.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and quality assurance, particularly when handling sensitive payroll and financial data.
Software Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems; experience with specific payroll software is not required, but adaptability is essential as our client transitions to APS Payroll.
Background Check: Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required for this temp-to-perm position.
Compensation and Schedule
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (Target rate is $18.00 - $19.00).
Schedule Flexibility (Part-Time): Initial hours will be approximately 20 hours per week. The candidate will have the flexibility to set a consistent schedule prior to the start date (e.g., five days a week, 8 am - 12 pm OR three days a week with longer hours).
