THIS ROLE IS ON A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT FOR 6 MONTHS
What is the opportunity?
In this role you will assist with the administration of Payroll Services across the Caribbean ensuring delivery of accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to staff across the region and finalizing Caribbean-wide regulatory returns. You will also be responsible for the analysis, update and maintenance of specific Compensation data in PeopleSoft, HR Plus and Micropay Systems. You will also be required to update Absence data in Workday to ensure accurate delivery of reports via Workday.
What will you do?
Update Payroll records for employee salary adjustments, tax exemptions/allowances, bonus payments and terminations etc.Accurate processing of Pay and Absence data on the HR payroll systems, within stipulated deadlinesAccurate calculations of final salaries for employment terminations, (retirements/ resignation/contract terminations)Ensure that all amendments to the HR Payroll Systems are calculated and submitted for verification within the specified deadlinesCalculation of sick leave, personal leave and vacation leave entitlements for employeesMonitoring of employees on extended absences to ensure correct compensation and benefits are receivedAccurately prepare NIS contribution letters along with relevant TD4 documentation for submission to the employee within SLAFollow up with new hires/re-hires to ensure receipt of account numbers, statutory identification numbers, previous earnings etc.Run payroll finalization queries and make amendments as requiredAdministrative duties supporting payroll functions – generating reports to satisfy audit requirements, supporting the preparation and dispatch of TD4sProvide assistance and relief for Payroll Consultant as requiredWhat do you need to succeed?

Five (5) years banking experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordBasic Accounting skillsWritten and verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration skillsNice to have
