Payroll Administrator
Job Description
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 8 out of 24 payroll companies, covering around 1,500 employees across the United States using Enhanced ADP Workforce Now. The role involves supporting the entire payroll process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing, delivery, and reconciliation of payroll.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day payroll function systematically, including ADP Essential Timecard maintenance, WFN data integrity, and system validation for all new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and leave of absences.Compile, validate, and prepare import pay data files for bi-weekly variable pay and payroll adjustments.Participate in pre-and post-payroll auditing procedures and troubleshoot anomalies or issues.Assist in the quarterly and year-end process of reconciling tax deposits, annual fringe benefit reporting, and W-2 statements.Effectively manage the service ticketing system within defined service level agreements while providing thorough research and resolution, product support, and excellent customer service to all business partners and employees.Complete all verification of employment inquiries; organize, maintain, and upload unemployment notices and wage order requests to ADP Smart Compliance.Support recurring and ad hoc reporting, including production of basic to intermediate reporting to various internal and external stakeholders.Ensure PTO setup and balances reflect correct company policies and administer payroll policies, practices, and procedures.Support project initiatives such as process review and requirements for system enhancements and solutions.Participate in audit processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual activities.Work closely with the HRIS team to ensure data integrity and continuity of system information and reporting.Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of payroll experience.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a multi-state environment using ADP products for 1,000+ employees required, with 3-5 years preferred.Extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and payroll laws.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work independently or as part of a team.Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, time-sensitivity, and follow-through.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
