Payroll Administrator
Job Title: Payroll AdministratorJob Description

This role involves managing payroll for approximately 8 out of 24 payroll companies, covering around 1,500 employees across the United States. The position requires the use of Enhanced ADP Workforce Now to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, delivery, and reconciliation. The Payroll Administrator supports the entire payroll process from start to finish.

ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day payroll function, including ADP Essential Timecard maintenance and WFN data integrity.System validation of new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and leave of absences.Compile, validate, and prepare import pay data files for bi-weekly variable pay and payroll adjustments.Participate in pre-and post-payroll auditing procedures and troubleshoot anomalies.Assist in the quarterly and year-end reconciliation of tax deposits, annual fringe benefit reporting, and W-2 statements.Manage the service ticketing system within defined service level agreements, providing research, resolution, product support, and excellent customer service.Complete verification of employment inquiries and maintain unemployment notices and wage order requests in ADP Smart Compliance.Support recurring and ad hoc reporting, producing reports for various stakeholders.Ensure PTO setup and balances align with company policies, and administer payroll policies, practices, and procedures.Support project initiatives related to process review and system enhancements.Participate in audit processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual activities.Collaborate with the HRIS team to ensure data integrity and continuity.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree or 5+ years of payroll experience.Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a multi-state environment using ADP products for 1,000+ employees, with 3-5 years preferred.Extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and payroll laws.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work independently or in a team.Capability to meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy, confidentiality, and time-sensitivity.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with multi-state payroll environments.Experience in handling highly confidential and sensitive information.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
