Payroll Administrator
Pay Rate: $38 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a renowned organization located in downtown Toronto, is looking to hire a Payroll Administrator for an initial 6-month contract, with the option to extend for up to an additional 6-7 months.

***This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work in office four (4) days per week

As the Payroll Administrator, your focus will be on day-to-day Payroll Operations and system support. You will oversee payroll processing, verify transactions completed by Payroll Clerks, provide technical guidance on payroll and HRIS systems, and act as a liaison between payroll and system support teams. You will also support payroll accounting, reconciliations, audits, reporting, system testing, and year-end activities including T4/T4A processing.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications; Strong experience with complex payroll, benefits, and payroll accounting Knowledge of payroll legislation, collective agreements, policies, and procedures Intermediate accounting skills including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and cost reallocations Experience performing payroll audits, system testing, and process improvements Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, judgment, and problem-solving skills Strong communication, organization, time management, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) If you are qualified and interested in this role, send your resume to Navneet Kaur at nkaur@ifgpr.com.
