Payroll Administrator About the Role: The Payroll Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Five Southeast Asia countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore. This position supports the end-to-end payroll function, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain compliance with statutory obligations, deliver exceptional service to employees, and continuously improve payroll systems and processes. This position will report to the Payroll Team Lead. Our Team APAC Team – We look after Australia, SEA and Greater China countries. This Payroll Administrator role will be responsible for payroll across five Southeast Asia countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore. Key Responsibilities + Payroll Processing + Manage end-to-end payroll processing for the Five Southeast Asia countries: Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore. + Administer Monthly payroll processes. + Perform quality assurance checks on monthly and Fortnightly payroll data + Manage the review and approval process for payroll in accordance with Pearson’s schedule of authority. + Schedule and process out-of-cycle pay runs as required. + Assist the global mobility team with payroll processing for international transfers and employment changes. + Compliance & Statutory Reporting - Monthly and Annually + Support annual and ad hoc audit activities as required. + Provide reporting for company directors as required. + Customer Service & Issue Resolution + Provide advice and education to the business and employees regarding pay issues, award/legislation changes, and new policies. + Resolve payroll enquiries professionally.
