We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to manage and oversee payroll processes for a large workforce. This role involves handling payroll cycles, tax processing, and assisting with audits and software implementation projects.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee a semi-monthly payroll for 1,000-1,500+ employees.
+ Process payroll on various pay cycles, including weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly.
+ Manage garnishments and 401k changes.
+ Assist with payroll tax processing at the end of the month.
+ Ensure accurate and timely payments of federal, state, local, and provincial taxes, including CPP, EI, and Workers’ Compensation payments in Canada.
+ Assist with both internal and external payroll tax audits.
+ Support project-based work during Kronos implementation and software updates, including running mock payrolls and creating reports for the Kronos team.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in payroll processing.
+ Experience with SAP or UKG is required.
+ UKG Dimensions experience strongly preferred.
+ Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
+ Knowledge of payroll tax, payroll accounting, and reporting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 5+ years of relevant payroll processing experience in a large corporate environment.
+ Experience with garnishments and updating 401k contributions.
+ High School Diploma required.
+ Union or CBA payroll experience preferred.
+ Kronos experience preferred.
Work Environment
This position operates within a professional work environment at the corporate headquarters in Tampa. The role follows a hybrid model, with in-office work from Monday to Wednesday and remote work on Thursday and Friday. Initial training will be conducted fully in-person for the first few weeks. Our payroll team is extremely busy, thus new hires are expected to be self-starters.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
