Payroll Accounting Associate
Position Purpose:

The Payroll Accounting Associate is primarily responsible for one of the following functions: (1) Accounting, maintaining/correcting payroll entries posted to the GL; (2) Direct Deposit: tracking outstanding checks, maintaining accurate records for escheatments,(3)Over payments; (4) Account Reconciliations, and (5) Reporting (6) Invoice payment and other duties as required.


Key Responsibilities:20% Accounting, maintaining/ correcting payroll entries posted to the GL; Complete journal and data entry20% Direct Deposit setup and issue resolution20% Research and analysis of overpayments for resolution20% Metric Reporting20% Account reconciliations/ Invoice paymentsOther duties as required
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:Typically reports to a Payroll SupervisorNo direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:One to two years of work experience in payroll or accounting.
Minimum Education:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
