The Payroll Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant and timely payroll and benefits related accounting for a large, multi-entity, multi-state organization with associates across the United States and Canada.  This role focuses on payroll account reconciliations, journal entries, benefits accounting/reconciliation, assisting with payroll tax reconciliation, and supporting internal/external audits.  The Payroll Accountant will partner closely with Payroll Operations, Total Rewards, and Finance to maintain data integrity, strengthen internal controls, and support month-end and year-end close.

 The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background proven payroll experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume processing environment.
