Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product owners or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs. **Responsibilities:** + Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain + Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams + Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products by working closely with finance partners on both personnel and non-personnel expenses + Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them + Ensures product availability by partnering closely with demand and capacity teammates + Develops business cases for new products and additional features for existing products + Partners with the product owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and subject-matter expertise and understanding of the business and industry trends **Position Summary:** We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Payments Product Manager to join our team in building a next-generation wire payment processing platform. This role is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products, at the program level in a scaled Agile model. **Key responsibilities include:** + Defining the vision and roadmap for their products, defining and prioritizing the features/epics in the program backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and development teams. + This role works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with Products Owners to ensure they are aligned on priorities. + They support and collaborate with the Portfolio Product Executive on financials throughout delivery. + They are experts of the products, business or technology domain, and the industry in which the product competes. + This role demands a strong understanding of payment systems including Wire, ACH, and RTP, and the ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges. **Required Qualifications:** + Ten years a US Wires expert, create the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain. + Communicate the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, Product Owners and the teams. + Oversee the budget(s) for one or more products. + Provide input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them. + Articulate the business value to Product Owners so they understand product and strategy; Ensure alignment across product roadmap to achieve portfolio objectives. + Create and prioritize features/epics in the program backlog; empowered to make decisions about trade-offs with emerging work versus planned work. + Refine features/epics with the Product Owners to ensure there is enough “ready” work for the upcoming 1-2 quarters. + Review and accept features/epics and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements. + Work in partnership with the Product Owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business and industry trends. **Desired Qualifications:** + Domain expertise in payment systems including Wire, ACH, RTP. + Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards. + Exposure to event-driven architecture and distributed systems. + Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services. + Knowledge of financial products data such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives. + Agile/Scrum certification or experience working in agile environments. **Skills:** + Financial Management + Influence + Solution Delivery Process + Stakeholder Management + Technical Strategy Development + Agile Practices + Analytical Thinking + Collaboration + Result Orientation + Risk Management + Business Acumen + Business Case Analysis + Data Management + Solution Design + Vendor Management **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
