experienceThoroughly review office schedules and obtain outside records and scan into the EMR system ensuring all pertinent lab work testing hospitalizations etc are available for the patientrsquos appointmentSchedules patient appointments and informs patients of essential preparation requirements prior to visit referrals x rays medical reports etcVerify patientrsquos insurance for ldquoactiverdquo status by performing eligibility through EPIC at times will need to call insurance carrier for verification andor use web portals obtain referrals as necessaryScanning all pertinent faxes for filing ie insurance approvals or denialsWelcomes patients in person cross trained at the front desk or on the telephone and takes detailed messages as neededManages high call volumes Follows
