Description We are looking for an organized and compassionate Patient Service Representative for our client on a short-term contract basis in Panama City, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a seamless experience for patients by handling administrative tasks, verifying insurance, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist patients with check-ins, registrations, and inquiries to ensure a smooth front desk experience. • Verify patient insurance information and authorization details to confirm eligibility and coverage. • Respond to inbound calls professionally, addressing patient concerns and providing accurate information. • Utilize Epic software to manage patient records and appointments efficiently. • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient access and scheduling. • Handle authorization requests and follow up with insurance providers as required. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient data in compliance with organizational standards. • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing patient needs and resolving issues promptly. • Support the team with general administrative duties to enhance workflow. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive experience. Requirements • Proven experience in a medical front desk or patient access role. • Strong knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes. • Proficiency in using Epic software for patient management. • Excellent customer service skills with a patient-focused attitude. • Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls efficiently and professionally. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus.
